What's in store for you at the 2019 Professional Lighting Summit?

Updated: Aug 20, 2020

This year's Professional Lighting Summit promises to be an exciting and unforgettable event! The events team have once again put together an outstanding programme of ultra-relevant CPD presentations and workshops, alongside a trade hall full of the some of the best suppliers in the industry. Carbon Reduction Technology will be available throughout the event on Stand 1. Read on to find out what we've got in store for you:

The National Street Lighting Survey

Carbon Reduction Technology are proud to have sponsored and supported the recent local authority street lighting survey. The opening day of the event also marks the official publication date of the study report! At the event, you'll be able to:

  • Attend a paper reflecting on the study results presented by project coordinator Liz Hudson. The presentation will be given in the main hall on Wednesday 12th June at 2.30pm.

  • Attend an interactive discussion workshop on the study results, chaired by Lighting Journal editor Nic Paton. The workshop will be hosted on Thursday 13th June at 2pm in the Blaydon/Gibbs Suite near the main conference room.

  • View study infographics in the Summit's brand new display area

  • Pick up a copy of the June Lighting Journal, which includes a five page survey results feature

Handle the new Kingswood Range of lanterns

As you may know, we recently released a new range of ornamental lanterns: The Kingswood Range. The line features a range of popular models which can be used to fill gaps in retrofit projects (where a minority of assets don't meet retrofitting standards) or installed as part of a full replacement project.

We'll be bringing working samples of some of our favourite models to the show for you to handle. We know lighting specialists and engineers like to get hands-on with products so every lantern will be fully accessible for external and internal inspection!

Catch up with your CRT contacts

Manning the stand this year we have Sales Director Alan Robson and Sales & Engineering Manager Steve Allaway. Our team will also be attending the event dinner on Tuesday 12th. Talk to us about:

  • Current or new orders

  • The RFX2 streetlight and heritage retrofit gear tray

  • The SLX line: SLX2, SLX3 and the new SLX-Mini

  • The new Kingswood Range of ornamental lanterns

  • Our recent acquisition of the Waveguide light-injection product line

Feel free to drop by Stand 1 at any time during the event or we can also book you in for a personal appointment during or after the event. To arrange a personal appointment, please contact us at info@carbonreductiontechnology.com. We look forward to seeing you in Newcastle on the 12th and 13th of June!
