Trials have just begun on a brand new internal LED ceiling unit in Bangalore, India. Commissioned and approved by MSR Medical Hospital, the new unit is a hexagonal design, recessed into a square ceiling tile style housing. The engineering of the unit is similar to our current 2x2 square unit, which can be tailored to complement any style.
MSR Medical Hospital is part of the same family as the MSR Institution of Technology, which finished installing interior and exterior Carbon Reduction Technology units earlier this year. The tailored ceiling tile light has been designed for the Hospital’s suite of offices, pending trial results. The new design is set to provide brighter and more uniform illumination for the hospital’s administration staff, whilst remaining unobtrusive.
Alan Robson, Carbon Reduction Technology Director and lead engineer on the project, expects the new design to provide a significant 60% saving on energy usage and carbon emissions during trials.
